What is going on in Japan?

This weird looking shark was found off the coast of Japan.

This giant squid was caught by fisherman off the coast of Japan.

And finally, this dolphin with 'legs' (actually just an extra set of flippers, but the media and presumably some 'scientists' as well are calling them legs) was also found off the coast of Japan.

All of this can only mean one thing. Some pretty serious nuclear testing is being done in the waters off the coast of Japan or some toxic waste is being dumped there. Either way, this will soon awaken the wrath of Godzilla who will then procede to destroy Tokyo. The only hope at this point is to build a Mecha-Godzilla to fight him.

As I'm sure you are aware, dolphins and whales evolved from earlier land dwelling mamals. It would only stand to reason that the genes for rear appendages would still be in their genome somewhere. This one just had the right combination of genes activated to give him extra fins that where once common in animals we would otherwise today call dolphins.
