One more reason not to drink diet pop

......other than it just tastes terrible. According to this article, you are significantly more likely to become overweight or obese if you are drinking diet pop than if you are drinking regular. All of you statisticians out there (most likely just you Greg) know that correlation doesn't equal causation, so there is still speculation over what this data really means. Some think that this is because people drinking diet drinks feel like they are cutting back and so indulge in other areas and end up consuming more calories. Others feel that consuming artificial sweeteners stimulates youre appetite and you end up eating more as a result. It could be a combination of the two, but I seem to remember seeing a study a while back that found that aspartame in particular stimulates your appetite (and has other potential side effects like memory loss), so I am leaning toward the latter. Anyway, the point is, don't drink diet drinks. They taste vile anyway.
