Ocho Cinco

Unhappy with Cincinnati and demanding a trade, Chad Johnson is sitting out of team workouts. Since they could use a running back, I propose a Shaun Alexander for Chad Johnson trade. Everyone would be happy. There would be no downside that I can see.

The other sports item of the day is that the Sonics are now staying in Seattle. Or at least the name anyway. When they bolt, they have to leave the name, history and uniforms behind. Not much of a consolation, but I guess it's better than nothing. I think the chances of Seattle acquiring another NBA team are slim.

Chad Johnson unfortunately believes he's worth roughly 169% of any NLF team's salary cap. Ocho Stink-o isn't going to be happy until he replaces David Letterman or gets his face on every Coke can on earth.

The Sonics will rise again (i.e. Seattle will get another NBA team.) Paul Allen hates being in Portland. With only one North West team the profits would be even greater. I just hope tax payers don't fall for giving any NBA team a new stadium because they'll pretend they're not coming here unless they do.
