Opening day of baseball season is upon us, and even though I took a day off from my regular job to go work for the Mariners, I have very low expectations for the season. After Bill Bavasi spent the entire offseason trading as many prospects as he could for old, washed up players (the Jose Vidro trade being the biggest head scratcher), I really think that the team is worse than last year. I hope I'm wrong, but I think we're headed for another 90 loss season.
Anyway, I love going to opening day despite the low expectations and think it will be a great day to be at the park. Head on over to the USS Mariner for all the best M's analysis.
