That Was Close

I narrowly avoided making a grievous error today. I was late getting out the door this morning, and had to drive in to work instead of taking the bus as I usually do. This didn't become a problem until it was time to go home and, when getting up from my desk, I'd forgotten I drove in. Luckily I remembered before I got out of the building. If I'd taken the bus home and then realized that my car was still at work I would have been very upset and really blown a gasket. But not only was tragedy averted, but traffic was light on the way home with the exception of people in front of me slowing down to about 20 mph on 520 for no apparent reason, leading me to use some naughty words.
