After the game in which Largent set the record for most touchdowns, he presented his game jersey to Pete Gross. Knowing he was going to die from cancer.
But Pete did get to hear and see 60,000 fans in the Kingdome all cheering for him when he was inducted into the ring of honor in 1992. He died two days later.

Yes he did recover the fumble. I was a huge Largent fan growing up and seeing highlights of him brings back good memories.
I didn't know about him giving Pete Gross his jersey, but that's heartwarming.
