To everybody who has ever worked in an office: take a moment to wish a
happy birthday to the cubicle. 40 years ago, the cube revolutionized the office environment. Though hated by many and considered a symbol of soulless corporate oppression, I actually don't mind cubes at all. They give me a little privacy and they certainly beat the alternative of rows of free standing desks. Rock on cubicle.
Our marketing and HR people apparently like open office concepts. You know row seating and the such. I suppose if I didn't have anything I had to do during the day, then having an open chatting area might be in my priority........
